Take that, Silver Strand Half! Good news... we did it! Bad news... my time was horrific! I guess that's what happens when you forget to train? Hit the jump for more pictures, maps, splits, and running goodies :)

A glimpse in the life of a runner... FYI, it starts EARLY!

Especially when you have to drive 45 minutes to the shuttle parking area. The good news is that the Downtown San Diego lights are especially beautiful when viewed going over the Coronado Bridge at 4:45 in the morning.

Another downer for a winter race... it's FREEZING in the morning! These long sleeves only lasted about 30 seconds into the actual race (hence an absolutely horrific first mile split).

Bye bye sleeves... bye bye pain.. hello finisher medal!
